Requirements:
- Ensure all tasks undertaken on your assigned projects are delivered in line with quality procedures and processes.
- Undertake all Assistant Cost Consultant duties as necessary.
- Work within established procedures to undertake tasks relating to the cost control of projects. Review financial information in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies to ensure management has access to up-to-date and accurate information.
- Individually contribute to a range of professional cost management assignments.
- Interpret data and prepare supporting documentation such as schedules, feasibility studies and cost reports, making straightforward recommendations to support senior colleagues in their decision-making process.
- Communicate and highlight project process compliance issues to cost managers.
- Complete complex, professional-level tasks as requested by colleagues, prioritising case load and interpreting established policies in order to effectively support the quantity surveying function.
- Liaise with stakeholders from across the business to provide specialist advisory support to internal clients, acting as a focal point for operational project queries and ensure that there is alignment between policy and operational practice.

Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:
- To lead and develop the Building Surveying Team within your location to deliver high quality Building Surveying Services to our clients and partners.
- Play and active role in the business planning process and overall implementation
- Work closely with the Regional Directors in driving the business growth of the Regional Team across all service lines
- Lead business development activities, including the ownership of relevant bids ensuring they are adequately resourced and delivered to the highest standards
Develop and maintain quality building surveying procedures, processes and templates for the delivery of projects across all regions
Requirements:
- Hold full RICS membership
- Mixed experience of both professional and project based building surveying services
Manage client relationships of designated clients
Support the Regional Directors in the day to day financial management of the Region Building Surveying Team to include invoicing, debtor collection and fixed/non fixed cost control.
