Our Sustainability Consultant, Gracie Schooling, had the opportunity to share her valuable insights on her career journey with the students of The Maynard School. This experience was valuable for both Coreus and The Maynard School as it helped to promote and embrace the importance of sustainability in construction while providing a broader perspective on career opportunities available in the construction industry.
Gracie discussed her background in sustainability and how she applied her knowledge to the construction industry. The students expressed a keen interest in the role of a sustainability consultant in construction, and Gracie was happy to answer their queries. Overall, the event was successful, and we look forward to hosting more talks like this in the future to encourage and inspire the next generation of sustainability professionals.
Gracie said – “I had a great time at The Maynard School talking to the students about my role as a Sustainability Consultant at Coreus. It’s really important to be able to discuss the routes into construction and the large variety of roles and benefits in our sector as it’s certainly something I wasn’t offered an insight into in school.”
The students were both engaged and inspired by Gracie’s talk, with many expressing interest in pursuing careers in sustainability themselves.
