Broad Street Bridge, Erewash Borough Council

Broad Street Bridge, includes the delivery of a new public realm within West Park, that allows canal users to launch paddle boards and boats. A particular challenge with this bridge is that the bridge and public realm will be located in a designated flood reservoir. So the design has been developed to allow for any loss of flood capacity, while ensuring minimal impact to ecology and biodiversity.

Coreus managed the delivery of the design surveys and studies to support the planning application of each bridge and also appraised multiple procurement routes and frameworks for the appointment of a main contractor.
