About The Project
Coreus was appointed by the Ted Wragg Trust to undertake Energy Efficiency Decarbonisation Reports across their full estate. Our experienced consultants conducted a comprehensive analysis of the Trusts carbon footprint, leveraging our in-depth knowledge of decarbonisation strategies and net zero goals.
We identified key opportunities to reduce emissions through a combination of energy efficiency measures, renewable energy, and process improvements. As part of our approach, our building surveying team undertook building condition surveys, providing a detailed assessment of each buildings energy performance. We presented a comprehensive portfolio decarbonisation strategy in addition to one for each school. Our strategy identified a potential total of 519,165 kgCO2e in annual carbon reductions across the estate, demonstrating a significant impact.
Building on our successful engagement our scope was extended at All Saints Academy, developing a feasibility design for the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme run by Salix. We are pleased that this application was successful in securing £627k of grant funding for The Ted Wragg. This project underscores our commitment to not only identify opportunities for carbon reduction but also to actively facilitate the realisation of sustainable projects for our clients.
