About the Project
Coreus took the project from feasibility through to construction and handover. The project was developed from an initial requirement to utilise an unused courtyard area and maximise the footprint of the existing site, to provide improved educational facilities within the school.
During the feasibility study, the external courtyard area was proposed to be turned into a library and breakout space for students providing a designated corridor to introduce a separate learning environment from the circulation areas.
After completing the tender process and analysis the successful contractor was appointed.
Throughout the project, Coreus worked in close collaboration with the contractor and key stakeholders, allowing the budget to be maximised with numerous additional works included in the project.
During the construction phase of the project, we were able to safely show pupils around a live construction site introducing them to varying roles within the project whilst answering inquisitive questions from the pupils.
The initial design was required to meet a specific brief and be within a pre-set budget, Coreus were able to deliver the project on time and under budget!
